Kasumi, a chara from Alien 9...also my second fave chara in that anime^^ (my most fave was Kumi!)Anyway...hope you guys like it...

Aww this is beautiful. Kasumi looks adorable here and its nice to see an artwork of her in one of her quieter moments (of which there weren't many lol). You did a really great job of capturing her look whilst also adding your own style. Lovely work! :D

Alien Nine is a pretty unique series, I run a fansite for it at [link] if anyone wants to know more about this obscure show. :)

Thanks!!! XD Yes...Alien 9 is such a pretty anime. Very deep very unique. I also love kasumi (and Kumi =D ) It just so happens that I see myself to her ^^

Yeah I think most people can probably identify with at least one of the characters. I think I like Yuri and Kumi the best, I also like Miyu although you don't get to know as much about her. But theyre all very cool characters in their own right.

Lol... :blushes: Wow, you're too kind. I am glad my site has proved useful to you. I'm really thankful for the kind feedback. Also thanks for reading my lengthy articles, I wasn't sure anyone read my ramblings lol! :D You'll be glad to know I'm adding a new essay from a kind person who wrote about Alien Nine in my redesign of the site.

Actually at the moment there isn't a profile for her because at the time I didn't know enough about her myself ^^; I was missing the 4th Book for quite awhile since it was sold separately to the main boxset here in the UK. However in my re-design I'll be adding a profile for her, like Miyu she gets overlooked despite being quite an interesting character. I'll PM you when the new site is done :)

Unfortunately they aren't developed a great deal further in the manga. The anime missed out a few sections from the book and (just under) a half that it covered but for the most part the bits it did cover it did so pretty closely/accurately. There is even a 4th boy who is mysteriously never seen again, probably a good fanfiction loophole lol. I think the first 3 boys were supposed to be a bit 1 dimensional. It makes it easier for them to become addicted to the aliens and be totally controlled by the aliens because they have nothing more interesting to their lives, or so they think anyway. They were just trying to do a bit of escapism like Kumi and Kasumi. The 4th and final book has another boy pop up though as a flashback story that proves pretty interesting. I think it'd be a good way to have another book series of Alien Nine though, with boy characters for a change. Although maybe females are better borg hosts cos of the womb, or maybe I shouldn't think about that... lol.

Womb? What about the womb?? O_o'' what do you mean?? Gosh, I'm really late. I wanna know more >_____<! And the thing you said that those boys are like only escaping their real lives is very logical. I mean, hey, I didnt noticed that. Its quite obvious of who or what those characters portray. Why are they escaping by the way? Kumi, Kasumi, those guys... whats up?? What does Tomizawa (is it tomizawa <.<'' ) wanna tell his readers?

Very well colored, I especially like the cross hatching technique, just wish it wasn't so formulaic.
